Neglected Art Challenge Dump!

Fuck it. Here's stuff that I should have scanned earlier but things happened and fuck it, man. Onwards!

Challenge #7 - Flight

Alright, so I gotta preface this thing here. I am aware books do not fly but hear me out, okay? During this challenge my sketchbook was stolen and I was forced to start my birds over, but fuck that noise I thought. What I did instead was chop up a Paint By Numbers Kit of birds and turned the resulting pieces into my new Art...Holdy...Thing. Does it count as a 'Flight' submission you ask? I would debate yes, because look there are birds under that leather wrapping okay? However, I am open to a total disqualification of some sort if the masses demand justice for all.

I cannot show you what the inside looks like I'm afraid, as I've rigged this thing with booby traps in an effort to STOP MOTHERFUCKERS FROM STEALING MY SKETCHBOOKS! WHO DOES THAT ANYWAY?! 

Ahem. It's nothing lethal rest assured, but it will put the smart into potential thieves for touching things that don't belong to them I can tell you that much.

Challenge #8 - Time

I...I'm a little happy with this one. Time does make short work of us all, doesn't it?

Challenge #9 - Battle

Alright. I'm gonna say it just so we all know. I chose this word. It was a dumb choice because what I was mainly aiming to draw was a one on one fight but that isn't really a battle is it? I'M THE WORST, I KNOW RA! YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP BRINGING IT UP I GET IT!

Anyway. It's a Battletoad sketch.

I know. A massive cop out. I'm awful. Onwards!

I was straight up lazy for this one and there is no excuse. Rough Android 18 sketch from Dragonball Z.

Challenge #12 - Redo - Red/portrait of Emilie Autumn

Okay look. I misunderstood the Redo challenge. I thought it meant a retry at the word, but alas it was a retry of the chosen image for one the previous words. I ended up spending time on something else entirely and in the final minutes spat out this poorly sketch. There isn't even any red in it so I guess it's disqualified. 

I don't think I've improved. Do you?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But Derf, pool cues are not meant to be easels" but y'know what? They could be if you just gave them a little encouragement. Stop trying to stifle their growth as cues! You're not even their real dad.

Fortnight Art Challenge #3: Supernatural

Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform all you non-existent bastiges that I accidentally went about 10 minutes over the allotted time. As such I'll just go ahead and deduct 10 minutes from the next challenge time. Without further ado, here is the ever insane, the ever so Supernatural, Ms. Voerman of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

You best believe I'm going to finish this one someday soon. I love them so.
